Vintage from the 1920s

Vintage 1920's White & Gold Beaded Fringe French Art Deco Handbag. Delicate and detailed, this beautiful '20s purse is rectangular in shape and features ornate beading in shades of matte gold, bronze, shiny silver, and pearly white that create a novelty Deco design on the front and back, and has matching multitoned chevron beaded fringe dangling from the bottom edge. The bright matte gold frame is decorated with three stamped gold tone deco ornaments with hematite rhinestones accents on one side, gold beads along the edge on both sides (see photos), and features a unique gold triangular kiss clasp and a 14" gold snake chain strap. Inside, the ivory satin lining has a small 3.75" x 3" pleated pocket on one side, and a "MADE IN FRANCE / HAND MADE" label on the other.
