This is a print created from my oil painting "Afternoon Nap". The original painting has been sold.

This is a study of a naked man napping in late afternoon light on a cozy bed next to a bright window. I painted this one featuring very warm, glowing colors to capture the sensual feel of sunlight on the body. I used loose, spontaneous brushstrokes and glazes. The treatment of the quilt and the window is especially painterly. I've painted many sleeping male nudes but this one is possibly the most impressionistic in color and style.

"Afternoon Nap", 12x16” Epson UltraChrome water based HDR giclée print on heavyweight archival luster paper. This is a slightly glossy surface providing a highly saturated look and maximum ink coverage. This print is made to order.

***Print is carefully packed, rolled in a sturdy mailing tube for shipping. Please be aware that it may need to be placed under heavy books or other objects for a brief time to flatten after unpacking. Smaller prints may be shipped in a flat envelope and not require flattening.
