These large indigo blue speckled pottery mugs are a blast from my past! I used to own ones just like it along with a cobalt blue speckled teapot that I thought was the cats meow. Anyways being out of the 1980s era ( my past ) I initially bypassed them but then thought someone else may be just like me in desiring these extra large cups since the 80s is IN! These days they could be used for noodle soups and broths which are so popular or a great cup o tea or a latte!
Yes a latte mug! Or perhaps it's a mud water mug. Or sip your soup mug.
I believe this pottery is out of Japan although there are no markings
