Our Orleans Farmhouse Table is a true reproduction inspired by 19th-century Old New Orleans Farmhouse tables found in typical French quarters manors of the period. Its Crafted by hand of Solid Old Growth Douglas Fir, and features a long, planked top and hand turned pedestals. Shown in our Natural Patina on the table top, and our Antique Cracked White finish on the base. (Crackle finish not available at this time). Vintage Mill Werks is a small family run Boutique Manufacturer Creating and Crafting both production and One-Off furniture designs of old Salvaged Pine. Each piece is Crafted by Hand, Bench Made, One at a Time, of Solid Salvaged Pine. All Vintage Mill Werks pieces are constructed of solid wood, from our drawer construction to the backs of our case pieces and everything in between. We offer over 20 finish options and take pride in crafting quality hand made furniture that will last for generations. We also are happy to build any of our designs in almost any size and configuration you desire.
All Vintage Mill Werk's products are constructed of 100% Solid Salvaged Pine, collected from the Pacific North West and all of our products are produced utilizing sustainable manufacturing practices, and all of our finishing material are water based paints and lacquers.
All orders are produced for you specifically and any questions regarding size and finish options are welcomed, prices will vary for alternate size products. Productions times are 6-8 weeks, once completed we will schedule a shipping company for pick up and all deliveries are curb side and depending on size and weight assistance may be required to off load your order. All Vintage Mill Werk's pieces are Crafted by Hand of Salvage Wood, each piece of timber is hand selected, hand planed, hand sanded and then hand finished. The Natural Patina of the Pine shows years of exposure to the elements and are unique with no two planks looking the same.Given its hand made and finished nature variations in each piece of furniture are to be expected and celebrated.
Waxed Table and Furniture Care Instructions
Use coasters or placemats to help prevent marks or stains.
Hot plates or cups placed directly on any wood surface will cause discoloration.
Avoid mineral oil, chemical, detergent type cleaners as its usage will negatively effect the wax finish.
Wipe the table clean with a soft cotton, dry or slightly damp cloth after each use.
Avoid prolonged placement of objects on furniture surfaces as discoloration will occur from natural light
Wax should be reapplied, as normal use wears away the waxed finish.
Briwax, a high-quality finishing wax, is our furniture sealant of choice; apply as directed.
Solid Wood Furniture requires moisture, in dry environments either from geographically location or by use of heaters during winter a humidifier is required
Sealed and/or Lacquered Table and Furniture Care Instructions
Use coasters, placemats or trivets to help prevent marks or stains.
Do not place hot items directly on the tabletop.
Wipe the table clean with a soft, dry cloth or slightly damp cloth after each use
The occasional application of a high-quality clear furniture oil soap [ Murphy's Oil soap ] will help protect finish and clean .
Please note that slight variations in color and an incomplete seal may occur with any sealant; test on an inconspicuous area first.
