Vintage from the 1960s

Materials: PORCELAIN

Beautiful vintage hand-painted Chinese porcelain blue, pink and green ovoid form vase/jar.

Decorated with lotus flower motif and trailing vine and leaf patterns that cover the entire surface making is beautiful from every angle. The neck and base is decorated with lattice like borders and simple blue rings.

It has no chips, cracks, or crazing. A really beautiful vessel that will be a standout in any Chinese porcelain collection!

Base is 3 5/8” Wide

Bottom is marked with four Chinese characters and reads, "MADE IN CHINA"
"From 1919 "CHINA" was to be replaced by "Made in China" on all Chinese export to the US. Even if "CHINA" continued to be used for a long time, we can still assume that no marks with the full text "Made in China" is from before 1919 and more likely to be from the second WW."
