Wool Edwardian Jacket with Mutton Sleeves

$150

Early 1900s wool jacket with a fitted waist, swirling black piping and dramatic mutton sleeves. Has the sweetest pleated cuffs and collar detailing made from two layers of black and red silk. Fastens with sixteen hook and eye enclosures at the front of the jacket. A true antique treasure! The jacket has been patched by hand, so the inside shows a small spot where material was taken. It also appears to have had the boning removed, save for one seam on the left of the waistline. Additionally, the bottom red pleated layer on the left cuff has some wear and a few holes. I stitched over the edges to prevent further fraying (pictured last). Not noticeable when worn.

Fit:

High-waist: 26.5”

Pit-to-Pit: 17 1/4” (flat) - 34.5” (full bust)

Length: 17.5” (shoulder to hem)

Shoulders: Can accommodate up to a back shoulder length of 17” due to the width of the mutton sleeve. Back shoulder seam to seam it measures at 12 3/4”.
