Lovely Scallop Edge Open Salt/sugar or Trinket Dish by Charles Ahrenfeldt and Son. I love a dish this size as it has so many uses and I always find a place for one in a bathroom, dresser or kitchen, sometimes multiple ones. Beautiful Gold Brushed on lip is nice and bright and there are colorful flowers all over.
According to an Antiques professional online this porcelain dish was imported by Charles Ahrenfeldt and Son of New York and they used this mark on items imported from Altrolhau, Austriabetween 1886 to 1910 and I suspect it lands on the later end of those dates.
Measures 3 3/4" across with 2 5/8" opening
1 1/2" high
It is in Excellent Antique condition with only a nip and small bite at the bottom edge (see photos)
*Books and Painting are for display only and are NOT INCLUDED

SHIPPING NOTICE:
I do not "pre-pack" my items so due to the unique nature of some of my items I sometimes have to search for boxes that will actually fit the items and allow for packing to safely ship. Because of that I will pad the weight of the item so even with calculated shipping your actual shipping may be lower. I have also noticed, that even using calculated shipping through Etsy can result in incorrect amounts
Another factor is box size. Once you get to a certain total combined size and weight, Dimensional Weight Pricing comes into play as well with USPS. So sometimes I have to get creative and rethink my packing to keep the pricing down. 1 inch or 1 ounce can make a difference.
For all of these reasons I will REFUND ANY OVERPAYMENT of shipping for shorter distances, cheaper shipping options and lighter final weight.
Many of my items are over 1 lb in weight so I do NOT use "Free Shipping" for most of my items since a person living in Washington state will most likely not pay the same as someone living in Washington DC for a package over 1 lb. I just don't think it's fair to raise the price of an item to cover the possible higher shipping for further distances.
I am willing to ship Parcel Post with added insurance to save you on shipping but it is sometimes more expensive once insurance is added or only 50 cents or so less than priority. I will also try to ship flat rate and regional if the size of the item will allow. Please convo me and let me know if you would like to check on other shipping options. Once ACTUAL shipping is determined a refund will be given if it costs less to ship.
Also I am happy to combine shipping however the unique nature of my work finds me living in Los Angeles and Atlanta and I have items in both cities. Please check with me in advance to see if the items you desire are in the same city and if it's possible to combine them to ship
Thank you for your understanding
