This plug-in wall sconce is handmade to order from solid brass. The soft-wired design makes for an easy way to add light without digging into the wall :)

DETAILS

• Hand-crafted to order in my Southern California studio from solid brass

• Brass is left un-lacquered, allowing the metal to darken and patina with age

• Concealed mounting hardware provides a clean look. All mounting hardware is included, along with anchors for drywall, plaster, or panelling

• Braided fabric twist cord completes the design. Available in black, white, sand, olive green, or our signature burgundy. See photo for reference.

• In-line switch is located on cord about 18 inches below the fixture. Choose either an on/off rocker switch or a rotary dimmer

Well, okay! My fixtures are made from solid brass that is not lacquered. The brass is polished by hand, and then covered in a thin layer of artisanal microcrystalline wax (Theres a $10 word for ya). This leaves the fixture with a deep, matte luster. The brass will darken and patina with age. I absolutely love the look of naturally aged brass, but if you prefer the bright gold you can clean it up with Brasso or Barkeepers Friend.

These sconces are just absolutely stunning. I purchased them with the other brass sconces with the globe. Matthew is an amazing craftsman! They are well worth over their price point, you can an amazing hand crafted fixture for an unbeatable price. Matthew was a little backed up at the time I placed my order and when I contacted him to check in on the status, he was prompt, attentive, polite and informative and I received that lights just a few days later. I can't say enough good things about this shop, it's owner, and these kick ass sconces. I am utterly obsessed and will be back again for future purchases! Don't miss out on these!
