This is an original Post-war illustration drawing, hand-painted with gouache on Arches Velum paper by French artist C. Villars (France - 20th Century). The poster project features a young woman in a bikini swimsuit sitting on a globe. She holds in her hand a toy in the shape of an airplane on the end of a string. In the background on the terrestrial globe, the connections between France and the countries of South America are guessed. The drawing was created for an airline company named STAR. The illustration is signed C. Villars in the bottom left corner.
This image was probably later printed in a larger size for ad posters, but this is the original painting by the poster designer.
The drawing is adorned with a modern black wood frame with a silver accent and an off-white matte with glass protection.
