Vintage from the 1920s

Incredible 1920s era true flapper dress. This dress is fashioned in a pink silk net, completely encrusted in iridescent pink gelatin sequins. Hot pink silk net modesty panels at front and back neckline and underarms. Skirting features a scalloped hemline and side slits. Neckline and hem trimmed in beading.

Condition: Amazing condition. There is no noticeable sequin loss (though, upon close inspection, some gaps can be found. The largest area of missing sequins is by the hem (see photo 4)) Shoulders and underarms have been reinforced from the inside with a sheer net, strengthening the gown and invisible to detect. Still, care should be used when wearing this piece. The hot pink silk net modesty panels are extremely delicate and have small tears. I would recommend removing or replacing them if you plan to wear this, but I have left them in tact for historical purposes.

1920s items should fit loosely. In general I recommend at least 2" of wiggle room between your measurements and dress measurements.
