Please note that we hand select rugged pieces of reclaimed Douglas fir. We find beauty in the defects. You will find the markings of old saws used to mill the wood on the furniture. At times you will find nail holes from square nails, and knob and tube holes. Checking, cracks in the grain, and movement may occur, which is common in reclaimed wood and does not affect the structural integrity. Holes are plugged with Walnut or Fir dowel and imperfections filled with epoxy or black putty. Each piece will vary in color and markings, sometimes drastically.

Table exceeded expectations which were already high based on previous reviews and photos. Item was well packed in 2 separate boxes. Took longer to unpack and clean up than to assemble the table. Would absolutely recommend doing business with this seller.

I was missing the screws and washers used for assembly and they were responsive about it and shipped a new set. The quality of the wood top is very high and I’m very satisfied with the wood work. The bottom of the table was still covered in wood stain which I had to spend an hour scrubbing off so it wouldn’t get over my hands and clothing. It got all over my stools too so I had to spend a long time removing that as well. The table base is very wobbly and I had to put napkins under it to keep it from wobbling uncontrollably. The assembled table despite looking good, is not the quality that I would expect at this price point.
