Adrian Pearsall was very prolific with his design output for his company Craft Associates. Some of his designs are perfectly nice, while others hot a high-water mark in his oveur. We think this model 2466C lounge and ottoman are of that exceptional variety. The sculptural walnut frame is on par with the work of Vladimir Kagan, and the upholstered body and loose cushions are upholstered in a textured green wool that is as good as the best Scandinavian designs. As comfortable as they are beautiful, the chair and ottoman have been professionally restored to last another 50 years.
