A sublime shape, a wonderful large scale, and delightful details all mark this coffee table by Danish master Finn Juhl. One of the designs that Juhl created in 1951 for American manufacturer Baker, this table enjoyed a very brief re-edition in very limited numbers by Baker in 1998. This example is in walnut with an inlaid top of English sycamore giving it a lightness that corresponds with the leggy base and the ability to work with other woods of varying tones.
