Vintage Handmade Tonala Pottery Bowls

Lovely vintage Tonala pottery bowls by San Germán.

San Germán is a family owned company in Mexico that creates handmade Tonala pottery using the stoneware technique.
Each piece is hand painted using traditional techniques. This signature & style indicates creation in the late 1980s.

Signature: SG (San Germán)

Similar to the size of a berry bowl.

Measurements:
Width: 4 1/2 inches
Height: 2 1/4 inches

Each sold individually.

No chips or cracks.
The bowl on the right does not have the SG mark, but the ‘Mex’ & design match perfectly, so it’s clearly the same artist.

Due to the nature of this style of pottery, there are tiny pits and bumps on the surface. These are not imperfections, but simply characteristics of the pottery style.
