Vintage from before 2000

Materials: pottery, ceramic

This sizable piece - with its highly unique form, brutalist appearance and fascinating runic decoration - is sure to spark conversation. For me, this slightly spooky creation evokes a mix of Blair Witch, Frankenstein and Howl's Moving Castle. Its off-kilter shape and unequal "legs" give the impression that it may be very slowly hobbling across the shelf. I haven't been able to identify the artist (who signed the piece "KRANZ" both on the back and the underside), but the confidence and construction of the piece suggest a practiced hand.

14" tall, 8" wide and 5.25" deep

The piece has some chipping on the smaller foot and at the top (see photos). All other parts are untouched and it displays wonderfully.

I choose shipping service based on your specific order and location, so your package may come via USPS, UPS or FedEx, and you'll be provided with a tracking number for that service. The shipping class will always be equivalent in terms of delivery date to whatever is on your receipt. And whenever I'm able to find a deal on shipping, I'll pass the discount on to you! If you want a specific carrier or shipping class, please let me know and I can most likely accommodate it. Happy to do combined shipping on multiple purchases whenever possible and local pickup in Salem, OR is always encouraged! Delivery/meet-up in Portland or Eugene may also be possible.
