This gorgeously crafted and imperfectly hand finished artisan piece is a delightful departure from most coin purses we have seen. This 19th century example was crafted from a piece of “petit point” silk tapestry, with the most incredible (and rare!) “bee” motif. The perimeter at one point was reinforced with thread and it shows with the most lovely imperfections.

The tapestry piece itself features lovely muted shades of blue and yellow, softly mellowed with time. 

It also features a brass clasp and a pink raw silk interior.
