This is an incredible vintage 1950's dress made by "D.R.A. Original" and it does not disappoint! There is a unique Zardozi embellished starburst design on the right side of the bodice with beading and prong set rhinestones. Zardozi is a type of heavy and elaborate metal embroidery that originated in Persia. The top of the dress is made of a black sweater knit (likely a wool or wool blend). The bottom is made of wool in a dark charcoal gray, light gray, and blue striped pattern. It has a partial black taffeta lining in the important places. It features a double darted fitted waist with original matching belt, boat neckline, long sleeves, metal back zipper, and a back kick pleat. The hourglass fit on this dress is everything!
