We were lucky enough to find 2 rare sets of these ironstone oyster plates from famed French manufacturer Sarreguemines. The more common example of these plates with this colour way were reproductions from the 1970s and 1980s, but these pretty plates were originally produced in the 1920s.
Each plate holds 6 oysters and has a centre well for lemon wedges or sauce. Please note the crazing and a small chip as pictured. Sourced from an estate in Aix-en-Provence.
