Kjell Engman designed this wonderful decanter for Kosta Boda. It is a blown glass figurative decanter and the stopper or top is the head of a person! Engman was born in Sweden in 1946. He began working for Kosta Boda in 1978. He resides lives on an island in southern Sweden and rides his Harley-Davidson motorcycle to work.

Engman has said that he draws inspiration from diverse sources, often from the animal kingdom, as in his elegant winged wild birds. He is often commissioned for public works both in Sweden and abroad. If you look at his vast collection of works you will see that he is truly a creative who is still creating today!

This piece measures 17 inches high x 8.5" wide.
