Desk, French, in the Louis XVI style. This piece is made of mahogany that has been ebonized and finished in a lustrous museum quality French polish. There are five  drawers with replacement bronze hardware. We love the fluted, tapered legs. The writing top is covered in a bronze leather, which also covers the two pull out leaves. The full length of the desk with leaves is 74.5”.
