Set of Four Italian Baroque Style Dining Chairs with Mohair

$8,000.00

Opulent set of four bespoke dining chairs featuring highly carved and painted frames in the Italian baroque taste by Brustlin Workshop Hollywood, CA. Artisan Richard Brustlin (American 1935-2020) crafted custom furniture for clients and famous neighbors such as Dennis & Leen, Christopher Guy, and J. Robert Scott. These grand chairs have large generous frames with carved acanthus and rocaille decoration. They are intentionally distressed and have an aged patina on the painted finish to mimic 18th century Italian baroque chairs. The backs have a gracefully peaked crest and flat back. The seats have a rich, vintage mohair fabric and the backs have a linen style fabric in a neutral beige tone. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with makers stamps on frames. Lovely profile from an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
