We found these pretty French terra cotta and porcelain glazed tile remnants at an estate in Aix-en-Provence, and we had to rescue them—each one is a hand painted treasure. Each one is stamped on the reverse with the name of the maker or makers mark. The porcelain tiles are made by famed French maker St. Amand.
We think that now they make the loveliest coasters or petite candle drip trays.
