A beautiful piece of vintage Bloomcraft fabric in a Chambord Selection floral pattern reminiscent of Jacobean or Josef Frank fabric patterns. This large, fantastical floral print is boldly colored in blue, green and pink hues. It's a cotton based, medium weight drapery, bedding, and upholstery fabric similar to a chintz. It has a soft hand and slight sheen and has been treated with DuPont Zepel stain repellent. I believe this fabric likely dates to the 1960's though it may even be a decade earlier.

Bloomcraft was a New York City firm that specialized in furnishing fabrics and operated from the 1940's to 1980's. They partnered with notable designers and artists (including Picasso) to create stylish fabric patterns. This Chambord Selection fabric does not indicate a particular designer, but it's fabulous nonetheless.

Size: ~5.5 yards long and 55" wide. To give a sense of the pattern size, the square in the second picture is a bit larger than 2' x 2'. Price is for the entire piece (only $20/yard).

Condition: Excellent vintage condition without any rips, holes, stains, or fading. Sourced from a smoke free home. It includes selvedge edges along each side and appears as if it was just cut from the roll yesterday.
