Adorable vintage ceramic coin bank, late 1960's to mid-1970's era. Unique square design that is reminiscent of a book with binding at one side and curved pages at the other. Each side is handpainted with two sides featuring whimsical designs. Little mid-century styled snails under daisy flowers, and a girl with birds in colorful brushstrokes. Marked "Italy" at bottom. Has original plastic plug that is removable to remove coins when needed. In great vintage condition, a few minor chips to ceramic edges as pictured, please see the last photo for the worst chip at a bottom corner. Presents nicely and these are only noticeable under close inspection. Measures 4 inches tall, and approximately 3.5 inches across square.
