German Space Age Modern Pair of Desk/Shelf Clip-on Lights by Roger Tallon (1929-2011), world re-known French Industrial designer, for Erco Leuchten Germany 1970s. This pair of Minimalist clip on lamps which has the light on top and clip on the bottom adjustable up- down their 6″ post as well directional. The lights takes one standard Edison base bulbs. These Erco edited clip-on shelf/ desk lights from the 1970s in Tallon’s typical black/red color scheme, demonstrates the aesthetic consciousness of Tallon’s designs, simple and very utilitarian.  Warning sign in German on plastic bulb holder which indicates –minimum distance that lamp be away from flammable materials (20 inches) 100 Watts max – “A. Mindestrabstand Zu brennb. Material 0.5 M – 100 W.Max” .

An Industrial engineer by profession, Roger Tallon, was a maverick of Industrial Design. Tallon and his team created over 400 products as varied as the TGV high speed trains and Eurostar trains to refrigerators, TVs, Industrial Robots, airport vehicles, watches, furniture, lighting and more.
Condition: Very Good. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Minor paint loss in posts, please look at all pics.
