Gorgeous silver mesh handbag by Whiting & Davis. Dating this to piece the 1950’s - ‘70s.

Would work beautifully for a Gatsby costume / flapper or Deco themed ensemble.

Signed Whiting & Davis inside the ornate silver plate frame, made in the USA, kiss lock closure, box chain strap.
The mesh is soft with a beautiful drape. Super sparkly like a disco ball.
The purse is lined in cream acetate and will hold a few small essentials.

Purse, including the frame, measures 4.75” high x 5” wide.
The total length of the chain end to end is 8.25”

Some scuffing and pin dot tarnishing to the frame. Has a vintage look, otherwise no issues.
When I look it over with magnifying glasses I see no issues with the mesh or links. Lining is clean with no issues.
Pricing for costume because of the frame, but otherwise it’s in very nice condition and could definitely be used if you like vintage patina.
