Most items are shipped the day of order, otherwise it is next business day. I'm parting with things I've loved and I don't like long goodbyes. Both US and international buyers will usually have the choice of First Class Ground Advantage or Priority, all packages are insured with tracking and require signature confirmation. If you would like Express mail please first make certain it is available at the ship-to location before choosing that option and factor in time zone differences and time of day.

International buyers please pay attention to notices from customs, your postal service, and possible 3rd party shippers which may handle packages after clearing customs, otherwise the package will be returned to me. We both will be unhappy.

All claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery, which is determined per tracking info. Clear .JPG photos showing the damaged item as well as packaging, must be sent via Etsy Convo or email.

If a rhinestone falls out when you unwrap a comb, that's not damage. It had been glued into that piece for 90+ years, and whether it traveled economy or first class to get to you, it probably didn't like the bumpy ride. It may be especially cranky if it traveled internationally in economy, on an aisle seat near the restrooms, behind a bulkhead, or with limited seat recline, and don't even begin to talk about the crying babies and badly behaved children.

I do not offer refunds unless the item significantly differs from description. Items may be mishandled, or purchased with the idea of using for an event with the expectation that it may be returned after use.

Most of the items I sell have been around longer than anyone reading this. Most will have some wear somewhere, and I strive to provide excellent photos and accurate descriptions. They are from a smoke-free home. As always, if you have a question, ask before you buy.

I hope you will understand that as the items are antique, and many are one of a kind, I can not accept returns. It is the same as you would expect from a bricks and mortar antique shop.

All packages are sent insured with tracking and signature will be required. It is the buyer's responsibility to respond to local postal service for notices and possible communications from third party shippers who may handle packages once they've cleared customs.

If the buyer claims non receipt of a package, the buyer must contact their mail service to file a complaint for the lost package. Insurance claims will require evidence before acting on a claim, and claims must be acted on within a particular framework of time.

If the buyer does not respond to attempted delivery/ package claim notices, or pay customs /VAT fees, the package is returned. International packages will take several months. No refunds will be issued until I receive the items, and postage is not refunded. Any return shipping costs charged to me will also be deducted from the refund.

If the buyer wants the package resent, they will be responsible for new postage, the original mailing cost having been spent.

I no longer ship internationally.

I may consider holding an item on RESERVE for an agreed upon period at which end the buyer pays in full, but generally I no longer offer that option.
