Nice example of antique children’s or ladies millinery. Looks Edwardian era, and has a consumers protection label. Marked 22.
Though it works for a child, may have been a ladies tilt hat / topper. The chin strap can be adjusted.

Black natural woven material (soft & flexible) featuring a wide grosgrain ribbon band and brass pins. The hat has a wide ribbon chin strap.

Measures 9.5” x 10” across (diameter)

Excellent vintage condition for a hat of this era. Shows gentle wear, and has an antique ‘patina’, but overall, presents beautifully!
Straw looks great, structurally sound with no breakage.
I have had this hat in my personal collection for @30 years and it’s been carefully stored.
