Nice example of antique children’s millinery. Looks Edwardian. Beautifully crafted in California exclusively for Gimbel Brothers of Philadelphia. Designer is Leo Joseph.
Could be worn a ladies tilt hat / topper.
The chin strap can be adjusted for an adult.

Coral natural woven material (soft & flexible) featuring a wide striped grosgrain ribbon band and black feather plumes. The hat has a chin strap.

Measures 10” across (diameter)

Excellent vintage condition for a child’s hat of this era. Shows gentle wear, and has an antique ‘patina’, but overall, presents beautifully!
A couple loose feathers that I have tucked in, but they are in very nice shape.
Straw looks great, structurally sound with no breakage, and the feathers are glossy. I have had this hat in my personal collection for @30 years and it’s been carefully stored.
