SOLD – Faux Bamboo Tortoise Shell Desk in the Style of Maitland Smith

A high style desk, finished on all sides in hand painted faux bamboo and tortoise shell (almost leopard print). Well made piece of furniture, heavy and with nice joinery. Inset leather top is coffee to ebony in color. Side drawers are locking, but are released when middle drawer is slightly opened. Brass hardware at drawers. A good example of the Chippendale or Hollywood Regency style work attributed to Maitland Smith. Shows authentic wear but still presents very well.
