Although this lamp looks very 1950’s, it actually was designed & manufactured in the 1930’s. Kurt Versen was a true modernist and a version of his “Flip Top” lamp is in the Brooklyn Museum. Some of his other lighting can be found in the Smithsonian.
Brass base has appropriate wear and patina from age and use. Newer wiring.
Very good vintage condition with appropriate wear.
