Antique, primitive and rustic French mortar from the 19th century.
Showing beautiful timeworn wear and patina, with decorative carving
details. The wood has a wonderful feel and heavy weight, it is quite a
an amazing piece. Handcarved, handmade, hand turned. Beautiful for
display or use.

Pestle will be sold separately, we couldn't find it at the time of the listing,
if we do find it, we will come and add it the the cost, if not will be listed
separately. Hopefully we can find it.

Measures; 7" width (across the top opening), 7.5" height.
Weighing almost 4 lbs, heavy!!

Functional and usable showing tremendous age. Marks, stains, and wear
all part of its' charm and appeal. As mentioned above the listing is for the
mortar bowl only.
