Antique French Tulle Lace Organa Bonnet

Charming Delicate, Unique and Historic. A Gently Aged Delight.

Simply beautiful, antique, 19th C or earlier French bonnet. Lovingly
and exquisitely hand sewn from tulle lace and organza with stunning embroidery throughout. Tiny cord still in place which a ribbon tie
would be attached for a neck closure (not included). The coloring is
that wonderful “tea” shade which only true old lace achieves and we
have left as found.

So delicate and truly delightful.

Measures; 18" neck width (not including an opening at the front),
opening around the face is 13" (from top of head to neck area),

Some old and exceptional darn repairs, some tiny holes in the tulle
lace that need darn repairs. A delicate and fragile historical piece we
are selling as found. Perfectly imperfect!!

A special find for the collector of antique clothing, bonnets or lace .. or
for a treasured display.
