Black, handmade pendant light with thin, raised white stripes. The organic, rounded form suggests a turban. The finish is glossy.

This lamp hangs from a red, 15 foot, cloth covered cord that plugs in. There is a white, on/off switch on the cord.
It also comes with a ceiling hook to hang it from.

My light fixtures are slip cast, glazed and fired with careful attention to detail at my studio in Seattle. The original shapes are created by hand, in clay, using the coil and pinch technique. This gives them a softly dimpled surface that reflects light in a pleasing way. The white stripes are individually applied. Made by hand, these lamps have unique character and lasting beauty.

The organic shape has a sophisticated "wabi-sabi" charm that is compatible with many home decor schemes. This is a piece of functional art that will add character and style wherever it is hung.

Requests for custom orders are welcome. I can make this lamp in any color you see on my site.
