This beautiful oak, Eastlake-style wash stand has been painted in Nantucket Blue, a moody blue with gray undertones- reminiscent of both stormy days by the sea as well as sunny days by the sea. The top has been sanded down to natural oak and given a light whitewash, then sealed with polyurethane. The rest of the washstand has been sealed with Wise Owl's Citrus Mint furniture salve, to seal the paint and refresh the wood. The wash stand has plenty of storage with a drawer on top and cubby space below. The left door can be latched closed with a hook, while the right door has a wooden latch that pivots using the wooden knob on the front of the door. Caster wheels, carvings and towel bars on each side give this piece great character- it even has the harp intact and the slight bend in the middle indicate that it is original to this piece. Oil rubbed bronze hardware adorns the drawer. Both the drawers and inside of the cubby are in excellent condition. A perfect addition to a bedroom, entry way, or nook- it truly is a versatile piece of furniture. Measures 30.5" wide (towel bar to towel bar, 16" deep and 53" high with the harp.
