French Floral Fabric Boudoir Box, Textile Handkerchief Box
ca. 1920s

French textile covered boxes are so hard to find. This beautiful piece would have originally sat in a mademoiselle's boudoir for silk stockings, handkerchiefs or keepsakes. It would now be perfect as a period trinket, sewing, or jewelry box. With beautiful rouge and blush colored roses, green foliage and a beautiful time faded linen color background. Two small door
finials opens to 2 compartments and one drawer. Paper lined bottom.
Showing heavier wear at one side with damages.....shabby chic!!

Measures; 7" height, 8.5" length x 7" depth.

Heavy timeworn and faded exterior (more on one side than the other), wear at the edges and corners. Missing interior drawers. Heavy damage to one side as shown although the fabric is worn throughout with fraying and looseness,
we are selling as is.

A true survivor from a bygone era, super adorable!
