(price reduced from $320)
This coat is amazing! It’s really good faux fur. From the early 70’s I’m guesstimating. I bought it at an estate sale this past weekend. I couldn’t believe no one snatched it up because it was the nicest of all the Lilli Ann coats and real furs that were there. (Yay) for us!! My bid worked!
The lining is beautiful. Even the pockets are lined in a heavy high satin rayon, off white color.
I’ve sold hundreds of real furs and faux furs in the past 30 years in the biz, and this one is cool! I’m usually not even drawn to most of the vintage faux furs because they tend to be brown, and unflattering.. but not this one! 😍
The colors range from mostly white, off white, to a subtle light grey tips, and light beige/tan. It reads as mostly white and definitely “light.”The base is a vinyl, like under the collar and the belt at waist.
It has one simple large cloth hook closure in front at the waist. Which is barely holding on right now.. it got me thinking, this could be easily moved also, and would not compromise anything. It’s not actually necessary as it has the sash.
It feels luxurious inside. It’s a classic beauty! And it’s in perfect shape.
I did notice one tiny thing... on the inside of the sash/ belt, it has a speck of pink, like some color transfer that happened at some point. I’m going to see if I can fix that. It’s minor. And it’s on the underside of the sash.
I do not know why there is no good label in this coat. There’s no sign that on was removed either. Puzzled.
It came from an attic closet of an estate sale and although it’s clean looking, a trip to the cleaners for a refresh is recommended. smells slightly musty when I took it out for pictures. price is reflected.
