This is an archival art print of my original oil painting "Renée au Soleil" which was created in oil on canvas. The original painting has been sold. There is a slight luster to the surface of the print which resembles the sheen of an oil painting. This print is made to order.

This is a portrait of Renée Perle, inspired by a black and white photo taken by Jacques-Henri Lartigue circa 1930. She is outdoors in full sun, perhaps in a park or outdoor cafe. I wanted to convey a sense of dazzling mid-day light and how I imagine she must have looked in it. I gave her a bright red sweater setting off a fuzzy white beret. I have painted Renée several times before and her chic, distinctive style continues to fascinate me.

"Renée au Soleil", 10"x8", Epson UltraChrome water based HDR giclée print on heavyweight archival luster paper. This is a slightly glossy surface providing a highly saturated look and maximum ink coverage.

***Print is carefully packed, rolled in a sturdy mailing tube for shipping. Please be aware that it may need to be placed under heavy books or other objects for a brief time to flatten out after unpacking. Smaller prints may be shipped in a flat envelope and not require flattening.
