This quasi kitchen island and dining table was a custom request from a charming Portland local that wanted to fill her open kitchen space with something that popped with color and juxtaposed with her more modern metal stools. By using more figured wood where the knots and imperfections are filled with epoxy, the table top retains that rustic feel while serving as great waist height real estate while cooking or seating a few around the table for dinner. As the middle shelf is removable, you can store extra large kitchen appliances and other tall items or put the shelf in and utilize the vertical space for pots and pans.

The island top is protected with salad bowl finish so that it's food safe while the base is protected with an oil varnish for long lasting durability.

This design can be customized in many ways, so please specify the following when placing an order (and I'll also happily remind you if you don't).
1. Overall dimensions
2. Color (providing a sample or photo would be the best way)
3. Height off the ground of the bottom shelf
4. Height of the middle shelf (if you have preference)

As shown in the photos:
- 52" L x 36" D x 36" H
- 8" overhang all around to fit stools underneath
- Top of the bottom shelf measures 7" from the ground
- Middle shelf is at least 17" clearance from the top of the bottom shelf

I just received the 2 nightstands I ordered a few months back. I'm so thrilled, they are exactly as pictured, and very high quality craftsmanship. The seller was able to customize the nightstands with no trouble and was very responsive during the construction process.
