Please note that we hand select rugged pieces of reclaimed wood. We find beauty in the defects. You will find the markings of old saws used to mill the wood on the furniture. At times you will find nail holes from square nails, and knob and tube holes. Checking, cracks in the grain, and movement may occur, which is common in reclaimed wood and does not affect the structural integrity. Holes are plugged with Walnut or Fir dowel. Each piece will vary in color and markings, sometimes drastically.
