The Ovid ring and its siblings (the Ra Ring and the Luna Ring) were the beautiful result of a collaboration with our dear friend and former studio neighbor, Matt Dick. To us they are characters, each with a personality, and we pretty much don’t leave the house without one on. The feel of the curved metal with the open top is somehow both hug-like and spacious, and their presence is quiet but powerful. The Bronze is a gorgeous pale golden color that converses well with 14k and 18k gold, silver, oxidized metal, and all your clothes :)

The rings are currently single-size, and without intervention they are about a size 7 to 7.5. Because of their open shape, they can be lightly (lightly!) squeezed closed or pulled open to best fit your finger. We have tried them on hands of all sizes and have found that they look great on just about everyone- you just have to be ready for the ring to choose its own spot! We’ll be introducing a second, larger size in early 2024, and if you’re wishing for a roomier ring, please send us a note so we can keep you in the loop!

A note about wearing Bronze: each of us has a slightly different skin chemistry, and bronze is more reactive than silver or gold. You may find that the bronze causes a slight discoloration of your skin on the inside of your hand when you first start wearing the ring. We’ve found that to lessen with time, and it’s not bothersome…unless it is! We want you to be comfortable and happy wearing these- so if it’s not working out, do pop it back to us!
