USA, ca. 1940s or 1950s. A large coffee table or low bench with pleasing distressed painted finish. Features solid wood construction with an almost Spanish Colonial feel to it. We were drawn to the crackled surface, which reads as a light sea foam green over elephant gray. The surface has been cleaned and waxed to keep the paint stable - and perfectly imperfect. Would be quite attractive at the foot of a bed or in a hallway. Sturdy and in very good vintage condition.
