Bronze Saint Gobain Glass Console, France 1979
Bronze Saint Gobain Glass Console, France 1979
Sourced in Paris, the stunning glass console table was custom designed for an architects office in 1979. Saint Gobain has been manufacturing glass in a small village in northern France since 1693. The mirrors in the famous Hall of Mirrors in the Palace of Versailles were supplied by Saint Gobain.
This console features bronze Saint Gobain glass for the tabletop + shelves below. The console has 3 curved glass supports and chromed metal rod.
At 88.75” long, this has a fantastic scale and a remarkable presence thanks to the highest quality of materials featured in this console.
DIMENSIONS: 16”D x 88.75”W x32.5”H; Glass: .75”thick
CONDITION: Overall this is in excellent condition. The lower glass shelf has two small chips on the inner and back edge; both are largely inconspicuous as you take in the whole of the piece. This table disassembles into 14 pieces.
