History
  • The Nevelson style is often associated with American artist Louise Nevelson, known for her innovative use of found objects in sculpture during the mid-20th century.
  • This style reflects a broader movement in modern art that embraced abstraction and three-dimensional forms, gaining popularity in the 1950s and 1960s.
  • Assemblage art has historical roots in Dada and Surrealism, where artists began to incorporate everyday materials into their work.
