Pair of Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler Scandia "Junior" Chairs | Norwegian Modernist Seating | ...
This pair of Scandia "Junior" chairs was designed by Hans Brattrud for Hove Mobler. They are stunning examples of Norwegian Modern Design and features laminated bentwood slats and chrome-plated metal frames. In 1967, Brattrud was awarded a gold medal at the International arts and crafts fair in Munich for this design. These chairs (like the high-back "Senior" chairs) are not only stackable, but are also just as ergonomic and comfortable. The minimalist form and warm tones of the bentwood would make this pair the perfect addition to any home. There is a small Hove Mobler plaque affixed to the underside of both pieces (see photos for details).
Please note that this listing is for two chairs.
