ATTIC Alert
Heywood Wakefield is known for its contribution to American furniture design since the early 20th century, especially with the Crescendo line introduced in 1939 that reflected mid-century modern trends.
The refinishing of these pieces could be seen as a nod to the increasing popularity of sustainable practices in furniture, where vintage items are revitalized for continued use.
Collecting Heywood Wakefield furniture has become a trend among enthusiasts of mid-century design, which may reflect a broader appreciation for this iconic American brand.
