History
  • Chairs resembling Brighton Pavilion designs are often inspired by early 19th-century British design, known for their association with the decorative arts and influence of chinoiserie aesthetics.
  • The Brighton Pavilion chairs evoke a historical narrative related to the Prince Regent, later King George IV, who had a keen interest in exotic styles and architecture reflected in his seaside residence.
  • Furniture pieces like these are part of a broader tradition of incorporating natural materials, such as bamboo, in design, indicative of sustainable practices that have been appreciated across generations.
