History
  • The campaign style is influenced by British campaign furniture that dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries, designed for military officers who required portable and practical furnishings during travels.
  • While this piece likely originates from the late 20th century, it reflects a revival of classic campaign design elements, combining modern materials with traditional aesthetics.
  • Campaign furniture has evolved over time with an emphasis on craftsmanship, and pieces like an etagere can be seen as a nod to both history and contemporary design sensibilities.
