ATTIC Alert
Bakelite, developed in the early 1900s, was one of the first synthetic plastics and revolutionized household items by introducing durability and vibrant colors.
The use of Bakelite in kitchenware reflects a broader trend during the mid-20th century that embraced modern materials, moving away from traditional wood and metal.
Silver detailing on utensils has a long history, often paired with more contemporary materials to merge classic elegance with modernity.
