ATTIC Alert
Thonet chairs have a rich history dating back to the mid-19th century, being among the first commercially produced bentwood furniture.
The Thonet company, founded by Michael Thonet, played a significant role in furniture design innovation, particularly with its focus on mass production and design aesthetics that prioritize both functionality and style.
The influence of Thonet's designs is still evident today, as many modern furniture pieces draw inspiration from the classic bentwood technique.
